Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the SlideCut Google Slides™ add-on ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this Service.

2. Description of Service

SlideCut provides an AI-powered tool that generates presentation slides from Google Documents™ using the OpenAI API. The Service is provided "as is" and is subject to change or termination at any time.

3. User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for:

• The content of the documents you process using the Service.
• Ensuring you have the necessary rights to process such content.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials.
• Adhering to OpenAI's Usage Policies, as the Service is powered by the OpenAI API.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of SlideCut and its licensors. The slides generated by you using the Service are your property.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SlideCut, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
• Any content obtained from the Service.
• Any unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
