What are the limitations of the Free plan?

The Free plan is a great way to try SlideCut. It includes 3 presentations per month, with each presentation limited to 5 slides. Our paid "Starter" and "Pro" plans unlock full 10-slide presentations and use a more advanced AI model for higher-quality results, along with premium fonts and custom color palettes.

Will I be charged automatically?

No, you will never be charged automatically. Our "Starter" and "Pro" plans are one-time purchases that give you a specific amount of credits and 1 credit is equivalent to 1 slide.
Credits last for one full year but if you run out before that, you can buy another pack to refill.
If your credits expire after a year, they are not lost. Your next purchase will reactivate any expired credits and add the new ones on top.

What kind of documents work best?

SlideCut works best with well-structured documents like reports, articles or meeting notes that have clear headings and paragraphs. Structured content yields the most organized and relevant slide summaries.

Can I customize the slides after generation?

Yes. Once generated, the slides are standard Google Slides. You have complete freedom to edit text, move elements and change themes just like any other presentation you create yourself.

Is my data safe?

Yes. SlideCut has passed Google's rigorous security review and is a verified Google Workspace Add-on. Your document content is processed securely via official Google APIs and is never stored on our servers. We do not see your data.

Do I own the presentations I create?

Yes. Any presentation generated by SlideCut is created directly in your Google Slides account. You have full ownership and can edit, share or delete it just like any other file you own.
