Media Wrangler lets you save public media from YouTube, X, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it and your choices.

Overview

We collect only what is needed to sign you in, track credits and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data.

Data we collect

• Google sign in basics such as email and display name to create your account and keep credits private to you.
• Download history such as URL hash, quality, credits spent and timestamp for your ledger and support.
• Safety logs such as IP hash, country and error type for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• We do not store the actual video files. Downloads are streamed to your device and not retained.

How we use data

• Provide previews and downloads, deduct credits and show your remaining balance.
• Sync pending credits after purchase and enforce per-IP and per-account limits.
• Protect against abuse, fraud and automated scraping.

Sharing

We share data only with trusted providers who run sign in, hosting, storage and payments. No advertising sharing.

Storage and retention

Data is stored securely in the US and remains until you delete your account. You can request deletion at any time via the Contact page.

Your choices

• View your credit ledger in the app and request full deletion via Contact .
• Sign out and revoke Google access in your Google account at any time.
